Our Story of the "Flying V"
The Company name is derived from the combination of two interests of the Company’s founders; the world of the game of golf, and all things aerospace.
The emblematic “V” of both the name and the logo is representative of the putting position of the arms and shoulders of the Pendulum putting technique and the “V” formations commonly flown by military aircraft.It is by no accident that the first model of the Flying V putter grip is the model SR71-BB. This is a tribute to the men and women involved in design, construction and flight of the infamous “Blackbirds” of the United States military. Just like the SR71 , Flying V golf represents the best in class of putting grip technology and technique to “Simply- Fly” your putting stroke. Subsequent models of the Flying V Golf putting grips will be named after people, groups, or aircraft that where influential in the history of aviation.
